I have been absolutely horrible at posting! Can you say, Spring Cleaning, school events, and family injuries to say the least of what has been going on that would prevent me from posting, updating and doing what I love! Well...let me just say that all is well...and soon I will be posting some more beautiful pics along with the introduction I promised of my assistant! (see I haven't forgot!) Ok...Ok...I am sorry for being MIA

It has been absolutely crazy for me lately. No excuses, I shouldn't neglect my blog but I have had to care for other things first. My poor husband broke his toe. I know how silly that sounds and what big deal is it to break a toe but it truly has been a big deal. NOt only has or was he in extreme pain but we have had to be in and out of Dr. appointments because it was a bad break on his big toe. So, they want to insure he gets healed up good ...and we are hoping he can avoid surgery! Then, of course you all know it is Tax Time! Yuk! And, so it has been a new exprience for me with figuring personal and business taxes! Can you say "Hire an Accountant"! Yep, you bet I will starting this next tax season...but it is too late for me to do that now...so a suffering I will pay until I get them done! On top of all of that, I laid my very first floor ever in my life! I am very please how it turned out but did I ever gain a lot of respect for you very important floor layer people! My foyer really need updating and cleaning up so, I laid a new tile floor and began painting the trim within my home! Amongst the fun personal things I have shared with you I have also been meeting with new wedding clients for the upcoming 2009 wedding year! Yay! Exciting!!! And, I have been thinking up some new offers for Portrait sessions that will be starting back up soon in the Spring! I am so excited to get back outside and getting some pics of you and your lovely families!!!!

Well...until then...I snapped these silly pics of my work space so you can see and hopefully appreciate my crazy life lately. And I am sure many of you can relate! haha!

Meet the Beautiful Ms. Linsi

So...the day was 26 degrees outside but did that stop us from going out to get some fabulous pics with Ms. Linsi? Heck No! She was all for it, so we packed up and went out around the town to get some "cool" pics! This is just a teaser for her but let me say we...worked fast but you would never know it in her pics as she really knew how to work the camera...and wasn't afraid of some snow either!

Now don't say I didn't warn ya...she is gorgeous!

...so, as I was fumbling around within my computer this morning...and my toes were so cold! This picture came up and brought so many good many memories from a fun session last summer! It was so nice that day, sun was shining, birds chirping, grass was green and remember I said my toes was cold...well, on this day you could go barefoot with no worries if you wanted! Oh! How I am so ready for Spring and Summer again!

Why Do Wedding Pics Take So Long...

As, I am finishing up pictures from a recent wedding...I visited another Photographers blogroll and read a post she shared. Perfectly written, I knew I had to share with you her explanation, why does it seem to take so long to have your images released after your wedding day! Although I have always been sure to follow through with "promised" release dates to my Brides & Grooms...Anne Ruthmann has perfectly explained what is "behind the scenes" when we Photographers leave after the Ceremony and Celebration...and the creation of the beautiful images you receive for your keepsakes of such a beautiful day in your lives. I hope this information helps you understand why your Wedding Photographer may ask for your understanding in "weeks" for the release date, compared to your Aunts or Gramps pictures being shared the next day. Of course, I was a Bride and now a Wife and Mother and I still understand the excitement of seeing pictures...so this is why I enjoy the permitted opportunities to post pictures as a sneak peek on my blog after a session or wedding!

I recently had the honor of capturing Jeremiah & Sloan's Wedding day! And, as I have had a bit of their story shared with me...what I can share with you is they are a real fairy tale couple. The love between the two was very present throughout the day and it was a true honor to be a part of this day. As you will see, Jeremiah is in the Navy and was home for the Holidays! With the visit home, him and his bride took the plunge into marriage...and so the story goes...I wish you both love and happiness forever after! Here is a look at your sneak peek from the beautiful captures of your day!

They were married at the lovely First Christian Church in New Castle, IN. ...and before I introduce the beautiful Bride and handsome Groom to you...I will share a few of the details from their day.

Now to introduce to you the Beautiful Bride and Handsome Groom! Meet Sloan and Jeremiah!

While Sloan was getting ready, I was able to capture this picture of her. Isn't she beautiful, just like I said!

I don't usually share alot of pictures from the ceremonies...but this one just couldn't go without being shared! The church is just gorgeous on the inside as it is on the outside. And, I loved how the pews just led your eye straight to the reason as why we were all called there on this day!After the ceremony, of course it is time for the formal pictures! I was able to get a few with the brave Bride & Groom outside! I say brave because it was cold outside...but I am so glad they agreed! Here are a couple from our quick trip outside!Now it is time for cake and partying! Below is a picture of their red velvet cake...and I say this because it was simply gorgeous when cut into with the white icing and red cake! Wow! I wanted to sneak off with a piece oh so bad! ...and to finish your sneak peek I wanted to include this last picture! As I know that Jeremiah will only be home for a short time longer before having to return to duty! I can only imagine how Sloan is feeling and I am sure soaking up every moment with her love! Christmas is upon us!

So, just as the title says...Christmas is upon us! And with that said we know what every boy and girl is just itching to do...get their order into the big man, Santa himself. So, my family and I got to spend a nice afternoon with my Grandparents at the beautiful Scottish Rite Cathedral for the Mason's Christmas program. We were treated to a cute performance, treats and goodies, and of course Santa himself! Below are just a few of the pics I was able to get from our visit. But, first I wanted to share with you a picture of just one of the beautiful trees they had decorated inside this gorgeous cathedral!

and...here is a picture I was able to pull off of my Grandparents with my kiddos! We love you bunches Grandma and Grandpa! Thanks for the fun afternoon!

...and last but not least is this years prized photos with Santa! As you can see my daughter wasn't too into placing her order but my son...well, let's just say he didn't forget one single thing!

Amber and Randy invited me to capture their special day...and I am so happy they did! They were married and hosted their reception at the Occasions Banquet Hall. What a great couple with such a big loving family and some really great friends! They all made me feel so welcome and I am excited to present their sneak peek!

Through this ceremony the Minister did something a little different...he had Amber and Randy hold their rings up as if showing their guests their unique symbols that will remind them daily of the vows they spoke on this special day! What a neat touch to add into their ceremony! Oh...and I can't go without saying that Amber & Randy were lucky to be wed by Amber's Uncle!!

So...then it was time for the formal pics...what a great looking group!
and you can't do formal without having some fun...check out these gals showing off their boots! Isn't the little flower girl just adorable!

And then there was 2...this is one of my favorites from the night! I can just feel the love in this shot!

and another favorite...I can have more than one, right?
Of course, after the formals comes all of the fun! Cake, dancing, eating and drinks! And...did this party know how to do it all! They sure did know how to let loose after the ceremony and enjoy the night! The cake was topped with their last initial and dancing came easily to many in this crowd!

So...as you can see it was alot of fun with a great bunch of people! I wish you both many years of happiness! On 11.01.08 I had the honour of capturing Brandi & Jason's wedding day at Martha's Orchard! What a beautiful day it was, the weather was absolutely perfect, the people were beautiful and the location was wonderful! Meet Brandi the beautiful bride!

As she was pampered and prepped for her big day...I started working on capturing the details...look at this bag she made to hold her important necessesities...now I should say that Jason is a huge Colts fan and Brandi did what she could to incorporate his love for the colts into their day! do you see the colts garters?

and yes...can't go without showing off the gorgeous gown and shoes!

Ok...So, now meet Jason, a true gentleman! He was already ready when I got to his location...so, we jumped right into pictures of him and the guys! What a crew!

Since Fall is my favorite time of year...I like to get my family portrait during this beautiful season! So...Brown County...here we come! The leaves were gorgeous and the crowd was present...but thankfully we found this cozy little nook in the woods that we could call our own for a bit! today...and what a lovely location! With much excitement building...I have the honor of photographing a wedding in the near future at this "rustic" yet gorgeous location! I packed up my kiddos and my Mom...and off we went to Clayton, IN in search of Martha's Orchard. With no problems...we found it and enjoyed walking the grounds! Now, as I keep my fingers crossed that Mother Nature allows the leaves to stay on the trees a couple of more weeks...I am excited for the next time I get to shoot here! Dun, dun, da -dun...dun, dun, da-dun! (wedding march song - haha) The date is just around the corner...I will then have more pictures to share of this location and of many beautiful people!!!

God gave us an Angel

First, I want to Thank all of you for your prayers and kind words through our most recent trying time. It all came to us as a whirlwind and truly we have been swept off of our feet. I apologize to each of you if through any of these past couple of weeks you have been effected and please know you have not gone unforgotten. As I truly value each of my clients and appreciate the friendships I have gained. With so many of you praying for us and not even knowing why...I feel now it is only fair for me to share what we have been blessed with. I don't normally like to get too personal on my business blog however, I feel I need to share this for more reasons than not.

On Sept. 18, 08...business was as usual. I was prepping an order to be shipped to some eagerly awaiting customers...my husband just got home from work and was hungry...and my 2 kiddos were tearing through the house with nothing but "play" on their minds. In short time once returning from the post office I had a very sudden and massive bleed. I called my Dr. whom gave the instructions on what to watch for and when to call her back. Upon having to call her back, my husband and I ended up in the ER for the rest of the evening with our worlds about to be turned upside down. As we fretted of what the bleed could be from what we were about to hear would have not crossed our mind as a possibility in the moment of our "work" busy lives and raising 2 young kids. The nurses drew blood and explained what tests they would be running and we sat patiently. Finally, the Dr. came back to my room...and informed us that I was pregnant. We were blown away. Yes, we have a great, loving, fun, nurturing relationship...but we also have a 15 month old that sleeps between us at night and generally very tired from our days tasks and chasing both of our kids. Need I say more to any of you whom are parents? Well, now to shift gears. Why am I bleeding?

A few days after learning of our "expecting" news...I learned of why I was bleeding through a repeat ultrasound. I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hemorrahage. This condition has not had a lot of studies done to say exactly why it occurs or what can be done to help it, although they have their speculations. But, when showing its face at such a fragile time it can be frightening. I learned that in my short time so far with baby, I had had 2 very large bleeds and 1 smaller bleed...and was lucky to still be with baby. Rest, rest and more rest was what I knew had to be done to get through this and heal the "bleed"...so, that is what I did. After many blood draws at watching my hormone levels rise, and ultrasounds to monitor both my "bleed" and baby...I was excited last Tuesday, 9.30.08, to see what every parent longs to see...my baby's heartbeat. A sense of reassurance came to me that I knew I must keep fighting and staying positive. My husband felt sure at the sight that all would be well. And, for a week I stopped bleeding...pregnancy symptoms kicked in with a vengenance.

This Tuesday, 10.7.08, I returned to my Dr.'s office for another ultrasound to confirm all was proceding as it should from last weeks visit. I left being blown away again. You know the odds are greater for you once you see/hear the heartbeat of your unborn child for having a healthy pregnancy. Most walk through their pregnancy on pins and needles always wondering and praying that everything is ok and eager to meet their love bug. So, I had done just that for the past week since we were blessed the week before with seeing the heartbeat...to learn on this trip there was not one anymore. Our baby was now an angel. I learned that our little one had not grown from the Tuesday before when we got to see the "flicker" of its tiny little hope to a week later. I feel my husband and I were blessed to see the life of our young one for its single moment.

As I wait to close this chapter in our lives...I feel forever changed. I know in my heart that I am a mother to 3...and walk with 2 of my babes. I have shed many tears and asked why? many of times. I know that God has a purpose with all that we endure...I feel blessed to have held my 3 babies the closest anyone ever could, within my tummy and always in my heart.

I am part of a non-profit organizaiton called Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. Ironically, October is recognize as Pregnancy and Infant Loss awareness month with NILMDTS. If you don't know about this organization...please take the time to learn of its importance. After this most recent personal experience...I now feel even more passionate about it. I learned a new word!

I had the utmost pleasure of meeting a very beautiful brown eyed girl and her family recently! Little Ms. M and her family met me at a very special location for their portrait session...and it was so very fun and touching! I respect and enjoyed the location of their session and am so honored to document this location with their family. Thank you, most sincerely, for sharing such a personable history and allowing me to enjoy this location with you all!

Now, for little Ms. M.! What a little busy body! We went on a nut hunt for the squirrels, a piggie hunt, and twirled like ballerinas! She even taught me a new word...hankerin'! What does that mean...well, let me just say, I had a good time "hankerin" around the playground with you, your Mommy and your Great Grandma! :) Oh...and I would be oh so bad to not add in that Ms. M. has a beautiful Mommy and I enjoyed the chance to meet you both!

Full of Life...

I had the pleasure of meeting a family this weekend which just as the title says...is full of life! "Ms. M" loved the camera and also loved to chase bubbles and butterflies! Little "Ms. H" sure did know how to strike a pose when the camera was on her too! I am excited to release all of the proofs to Mom and Dad as I am sure they will love the sweet baby snickers she shared with me! I enjoyed my visit with these two sweet kiddos and their parents too! Mom & Dad... I hope you were able to get your rest after our session, ...and Happy Birthday Ms. M - I hope your wish came true for a "real" pretend phone!!!

Ok...I have to share

one more mini session I got to fit in with my kiddos and my niece! I hope you enjoy them! I just love being able to take them out allow them to run crazy and actually manage to capture some pictures of them too! My children and my niece all suffer from the syndrome developed by most children of photographer's ...something to do with "avoid the camera syndrome" ...anyways, I hope you enjoy!

Time has truly gotten away from me with posting on the blog! I had the pleasure on August 2nd of second shooting at a beautiful wedding for a great couple with a close photographer friend, Photos by Devonie. It was a lovely day and the bride and groom had a wonderful turnout of family and friends to share in their enjoyment! I want to share a few of the pictures I captured for the special couple! So, I am going to keep this short and sweet! But I had a beautiful model for a Trash The Dress session! The day was full of sun and so we took advantage of it. We scouted out different locations within the country that we thought would be fun to take some shots and then she did her thing! Two Big Announcements!

First and so very important to me is....

My little Man Ky...just celebrated his 4 year birthday yesterday! WE all had so much fun celebrating with him! His party was at a fun location in Greenfield called "That Fun Place"....and did we have fun! With all of his close family by him we played games, rode rides, ate yummy - yummy pizza and birthday cake (decorated with the all famous Wall E & Eve) and he opened a mountain of gifts! He made out like any little man should on his birthday and to top it off...came home with his cousin staying the night and gave all of his new toys their first try! We didn't get to even think of sleep until we got them all assembled and initiated! So...this morning we wanted to send out a special "Thank You" to all whom attended his birthday bash and this is what we came up with....

we thought it was fitting since the most of this little mans loot was in the form of Transformers...and it is what he absolutely loves at the time!

I have applied with OpLove in hope to give back to our dedicated Men & Women along with their families. I am so thankful for the contributions and unselfish acts of bravery, dedication and loyalty that all of the Men & Women in Uniform display. I found this organization and knew that this was something I had to become a part of! I am currently awaiting the final approval from them. If you have not heard of OpLove it is worth your time to check out! It is an awesome organization that Photographers will apply to volunteer their services to capture special moments with the Military person and his/her family before departure. The Military individual will receive a complimentary photo book from the free session as a treasured memento of captured love from the family that awaits their return. Upon their return, the same Photographer will again volunteer their time to capture the special moments of when they are first reunited! How excitingly cool is this! To have the opportunity to give to these dedicated families is such an honor! I don't like to think of a family being separated...but to be able to provide them with a small but large treasure is rewarding for me. Once I get the approval I so hope to be honored with... I will again announce my excitement! In the meantime... spread the word of this organization. It won't be long...

I am so excited to offer this availability to my clients as I know life is already so crazy and this will make it a tad simpler when ordering your beautiful, fun, or just zany prints from your fun portrait session or beautiful wedding of course! I was hoping to be able to incorporate this a tad sooner but due to insuring that all operates as it should I have to wait for my site host to finish the final small details and then the ease of picture shopping will begin! My Kiddos

Ok...so, it is official my kiddos can be counted in year(s) now in age! I can't believe that my daughter is now 1 year old and my son is soon going to be 4 years old. It truly seems like yesterday that I had my son and then it is just unbelievable that it has been a whole year that Cora bug made her big debut! Time flies when you are having fun!!! So, besides celebrating Cora's one year birthday we have also had another celebration! It is a real milestone for Kylan...as any of you that know him...he is all 100% boy! And, the other evening he bumped into the kitchen table just right and knocked his tooth loose. He actually knocked it so loose that he was able to wiggle it out in the same evening! So, the little dude didn't even make it to his 4th year birthday with a full head of teeth! What is next? Well, I will take votes if you are game...but, I will say that I am hoping we don't have any broken bones! He does test his limits of gravity, cause and effect along with the general rough housing that boys are great at! So, whatever is next will not surprise me too much! But, with this said I thought you may enjoy a few pics of the birthday girl and our little man now wishing for his front tooth!

...and yes, if any of you are curious - the Tooth Fairy did visit and that is what he is showing off! He got a dollar for his first tooth and is patiently waiting to go to the store and buy a new car! Probably won't be long and we will be visiting WalMart to go car shopping!

Well... past the routine housework, dog sitting my Mom & Stepfathers "old lady" dog, and playing with my kiddos, oh yeah and making sure my hubby has some attention - I have had the honor of snapping pics at Vacation Bible School this week at our church! What fun it was too! I am going to post a few of my faves but honestly...it was fun just watching the kids interact, laugh, and learn some really important lessons! You know the looks of interest and eagerness to learn could not be described in a million words and yet it was so vibrantly visible on their faces and captured in the pictures. I am so thankful to have a younger generation that is enthusiastic to learn good and help the world become a better place following in our footsteps! Here is "hip hip" to Vacation Bible School!!!

Beauty in light of the crazy storms recently

Well, if you live in Indiana you are aware and have likely been hit by the crazy storms we have had lately. And through the dark skies, crazy winds and even scattered tornados that have torn through the state...I was able to grab my camera and capture life soaking up the rain and turning into a beautiful rose right at my doorstep. I just wanted to share this beauty... like the ole' saying goes "Stop and Smell the Roses"!

I know it has been awhile...

but I have my reasons! I have completed my first wedding! What alot of fun it was...the bride and groom were absolutely beautiful! And, I am not just saying that because the bride is my sis...they were amazing! The day was gorgeous, the decor was fab, and the wedding party and guests were a blast! I not only had fun shooting the pictures during the wedding but also much fun processing the images as well afterwards! There is many in my "Unity" gallery in my portfolio on my website...go and check 'em out! I also had my first maternity session...and hello! That was a beautiful round mommy tummy! And a very photogenic family! It was awsome and I am so excited to do more! Here are a few shots from each of the occasions...but as I said there is more on my site. And...in less than 2 weeks Iwill be having fun at another wedding with another fun, gorgeous couple! So...more pictures will be coming!

And...you know I also have some good pics of my Bro. He was looking for that perfect Mother's Day gift and we thought up pictures. How perfect huh? What mom doesn't like to get pictures of their kids...so, here is a couple from that fun day hanging with my brother!

Hello! I am so excited that I have been so busy! It has been a blast and I am so lucky to say that I enjoy what I am doing! I will give you a bit of insight on what new changes have happened with me and my business.

First and very exciting, is I have pal'd up with a friend in the photography business to shoot together at weddings! This is not only great for me but clients as well! This gives them so many different shots, angles and captures that are not always possible with just one photographer! So bring on the weddings we are excited! Second, I have been researching the options of being able to offer clients the chance to choose, pay and order their pictures all from my site. This allows for faster processing of orders allowing you to hold your pictures in your hands sooner than my previous method. If all works out for this option I hope to have it operational by the end of summer (hopefully sooner :). And, on a fun note...I have been so excited to jump into the maternity side of photography! And with the help of a very fun family and a beautiful "round tummied" Mommy....I had my first Maternity session! I know as ready as she is to have her little babe...she was gorgeous and I enjoyed out time together! And, it won't be long, as I will be posting pictures of some wedding soon! I have one on Sunday, May 18 (my little sis is getting hitched) and then I have been booking others to follow! How crazy, fun, loving, exciting! I am so excited to share what I see behind the lens at these awsome events!

As far as on a personal standpoint! I am excited to announce that we are finally getting new furniture! As silly as this may sound to some...It is so exciting to me. I have had the same furniture for so long; and although it still looks good I am so ready for change! My 3, almost 4, year old son is going to start PreSchool this fall! So, in a silly "Mommy" way I am excited yet sad. Excited to see my little man getting bigger and doing big kid ventures. But, on the other hand...my baby is getting bigger - enough said. I love my babies so much that they fact that they are getting bigger is so bittersweet to me! And, my daughter...well she took her first steps last night. She walked from the tub to me...approximately 5 steps! How cool is this! Then today, she went from sitting to standing on her own with out the support of anything. So, she just maybe walking before her first birthday! But, she still doesn't have any teeth! And, my husband!! Well, he is the best! I know I don't tell him enough but I do believe it and I hope he knows it in his heart!

Ok...enough of my rambling...I hope all of you who follow my journey is well in your lives! I love the company of each of you if I have the pleasure of knowing you and if you are a "cyber-friend" well, I hope the best for you too! And, I thank each of you for your interst in my little piece of this world!

My birthday surprise

Hi! I hope you are well! I have had one great weekend! I must say Spring Has Sprung! The flowers are blooming, the lawn mowers are going...and it is picture time! What a beautiful time to get some lovely pics as all of the life in trees, flowers, and people come out to enjoy the rays of the sun again!
Today I got to celebrate my birthday with my family...and it was such a fun visit. The kids played and played and played. My Mom made me an awesome cake (just like my camera)! I am posting a few pics of this fun evening...
I have also met a fun couple earlier this week. I won't post names, but they are inquiring on wedding photos...and I must say "The Bride" has her stuff together! This gal is so fun to talk to and I was so impressed with all she has accomplished in just a couple of weeks. I look forward to speaking with them some more! Also, I have been looking forward to getting some pics of some beautiful bellies (maternity pictures)...so, hopefully it won't be long! We all know what soon happens after the belly pics....little babies and cute baby pictures! Oh...I just love my job!!!!

I am also going to get the honor of shooting my Mom and Stepfather tomorrow in some very beautiful local Indy Gardens! I should have some great pics from this session to share!

Hello All!

Well! I hope you are well! I have been very busy building up my business network and trying out new ventures. I have also been eagerly prepping for my Sisters big wedding day! Everytime I speak to her she rattles off to me how many days left until "the day"! She is truly a walking timer. I am so excited and happy for her that she found the one she is to spend the rest of her life with! And, on the same note I am excited to be gaining a 2nd brother! Joey is one cool dude and I am so happy that he is going to be apart of our family! Early Congrats to the both of you! I can't wait to shoot at your wedding and am honored you asked me to!

Back to my roots today

Well, my sister and I packed up in my car and went on a memory stroll today. It was alot of fun and I am glad that I got some good pics of my families roots on our mom's side! I one picture particulary that I adore...why? I don't really know why, other than I know that what the pic is of was used very frequently! So, maybe that is why I love it so...but regardless I am just glad that I got back there. I think it is just a "needed" thing to get back to your roots periodically. It seems to keep a person grounded, I believe. At any rate here is my fav from this session and one other I got of a beautiful sunset!

I've been touched...

I have just recently read a quote by Ansel Adams that will now be with me the rest of my life...

"When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence." ~Ansel Adams

Really just sit and think about this quotation! It can go very deep on so many levels. Overall, I know that we all need in our lives a bit more silence to just breathe in life as it happens every second around us. As I peer through old and new photographs I feel the life that was in them that was captured at that very instance. Just by looking at the mood of the sky, the life in the faces, or the communication between whatever subjects are present, you can feel the photograph almost as intimately as you smell a pie baking. And all of this can be taken in as loud or silent as you allow it. But keep in mind, there is never a truly silent photo...for pictures are always of life. How special is life...just look around you...you may not have your camera close to capture it on film but you have just captured in your mind and soul, a moment of life that will never happen the same again. This same quote above...also strikes me in another fancy. I have an overall fear of death. I have a strong belief of God and heaven above, and although with my belief that through death and the acceptance into the kingdom of Heaven life is better than how we know it - however, I love my life as I know it now! I have a wonderful family and 2 beautiful children that I don't want to stop watching grow, learn, blossom into wonderful people. I am a people watcher...I love to see the sun set and the sun rise each day. To open my windows and hear life outside is comforting in every way. And what I have found with Photography is I am able to capture life and make it stand still for future generations / or individuals to view...as it is likely at some point when a photograph taken by me is being viewed, I will then be in silence...but this will still be how I can forever live in my life as I know it and love it! Hold your life and those you love close to you, don't let go and capture every detail you can, for it all is so beautiful and too beautiful to let go unseen!

This is just proof at how tired my poor children are of Mom being behind the camera and not playing, dancing, or just cuddling right when they want too! But, rest assured my little bug is playing and cuddling in my lap right now while I am typing one handed!! :)

Just As I Promised

Well, if I may take the time to introduce my family! Here are the loves of my life! First is my wonderful husband! He is a very hard-working and fun loving man! He has been a terrific father to our 2 children. He is also a wiz with electronics and computers...so, I should have no issues with navigating my way through this crazy process of setting up, maintaining, and editing any of my sites :) I love him so very much!!!

Then, for our children...This is our crazy man Kylan! He is the inspiration behind the "Dragon Tails" in my Blog Title. Reason being is while I was preggo with him I began singing a song to him by the Dixie Chicks titled "Godspeed". If you have ever heard the song you will get it! (It is on my website playing on my Little Tikes to Teens Gallery. I still to this day am able to calm him with my horrible voice while singing this special song to him! And then there is the Princess of our family....Baby Cora!!! She was born in June this past year! Yep, do you see where I am likely going...she is my "June Bug" in my Blog name! Although we don't call her June Bug, she has been known to be called Cora Bug and Ladybug. She is no bug at all to us...she has really completed our family circle.

Then, lastly there is me! I am the one behind the camera...so I have yet to have a pic to place of me! But, I won't make you wait for long and I will show you how I am mostly seen around the house with the exception of the ugly pajamas and crazy hair!

Hi! I am so excited to be online...and able to document this exciting adventure! You see...I know where I want to go but I feel in my heart and maybe as deep as my soul that I think I am going to go even further. I have followed my Mother's Advice...yes, as you know we always should, and am pursuing my passion in Photography now as a business. So, as they say - Sit Back & Hold On, Because Here We Go! I also have a web page that I have been putting a lot of heart into. I am currently Portfolio Building and so there are still some nearly bare or all bare galleries yet on my site. However, I have faith that it won't be long and they will begin filling up! Actually, I am excited to announce that I will be shooting my first Engagement session this weekend and my first Wedding is booked for May! Can you say EXCITED? Yep, that is me!!!
