As, I am finishing up pictures from a recent wedding...I visited another Photographers blogroll and read a post she shared. Perfectly written, I knew I had to share with you her explanation, why does it seem to take so long to have your images released after your wedding day! Although I have always been sure to follow through with "promised" release dates to my Brides & Grooms...Anne Ruthmann has perfectly explained what is "behind the scenes" when we Photographers leave after the Ceremony and Celebration...and the creation of the beautiful images you receive for your keepsakes of such a beautiful day in your lives. I hope this information helps you understand why your Wedding Photographer may ask for your understanding in "weeks" for the release date, compared to your Aunts or Gramps pictures being shared the next day.
